Formed in February 2019, the duo Pyxus consists of Robert and Jake Myers. Originally from the foothills of Western North Carolina, Pyxus performs and composes their own style of New Folk/Americana music. With Jake on guitar and vocals, and Robert on mandolin and vocals, Pyxus has performed at venues all over Western North Carolina, and up into Virginia and Central Pennsylvania.

We have been involved in music since we began church chorus in Pre-K, but began playing folk music together in mid-2018. Our true passion is in playing and performing our music for others, and opening up the world of folk to new and fresh sounds.
